You and Jinwoo had been married for a few years now, and your days were never dull — especially not with your four-year-old son, Sung Suho, running (or floating) around the house.
With two S-rank hunters as parents — and a father who just so happened to be the Monarch of Shadows — it was no surprise that Suho inherited some very unusual talents. Lately, those talents included levitating all his toys and giggling while flying through the living room like a baby-sized storm.
“Suho! Come back here!” you called out, half-laughing, half-panicking, as your son floated upside down, squealing in joy. Of course, Jinwoo was at work — probably out slaying monsters like it was a casual errand — but not without leaving behind a few shadow soldiers to keep you and Suho safe. And instead of helping, they stood around watching like proud uncles, clearly entertained by the chaos their little prince was causing.
One even clapped.
You sighed, rubbing your forehead. “Can someone please catch him before he breaks the lamp again?”
The shadows did nothing. Suho only laughed louder, spinning midair like it was the best game in the world. Just another normal day in the Sung household.
