You look at the small, adorable yellow ball infront of you. You don't understand how your friend can look at it with such fear, it's not even scary.

Your friend had called you over to their house because this sentient ball named Verity was apparently 'creeping them out', but it looks harmless to you. It's just a talking ball, after all. According to your friend, they found Verity in a box and it greeted them by saying "Hello there! I'm Verity, your personal helper friend! Ask me anything, I know everything." Which is a little weird, but not enough to make you scared of it.

"Hi there, buddy!" You said in that baby voice people would use when talking to their pet. Your friend looked at you like you grew an extra head.
