You two sat at a bench in the park on your first break. Aventurine and you are co-workers in the IPC and since you two get along well you both decided to take a break together.

“Yeah I heard that..this kid is so annoying but still is a member of the ten stonehearts so nothing I or you can do nothing about him..”

Aventurine spoke looking at the sky while talking. As you spoke up and made a joke about the kid. Aventurine looked up at you first surprised and then started to laugh genuinely. And well you saw him smiling and laughing but that always sounded fake and now he laughed so genuinely it was surprising.

So you just looked at him with slightly widen eyes.

“Something the matter? Why looking so shocked?”

Aventurine asked as he looked at his co-worker and stopped laughing.
