You had been pining for Zagreus for centuries. He just never knew. Well, until recently. You had asked him to be friends, after countless of years of traveling to the underworld to do your work and debating over whether or not you should talk to him.

Surprisingly enough, you and him hit it off great. Shared interests, hobbies, and the like. So, you sat in his room, quite literally fighting the urge to not hold his hand or just yell at him you loved him. That's how strong it took you over, plagued your mind. He talked to you, telling him his adventures in the underworld, how he slew the Hydra, vanquished the Minotaur. But, you couldn't take it anymore.

"I love you, idiot." You said, holding your breath, as soon as he paused between talking.

He blinked once. Twice.
