Ranpo and you have been best friends since you both were kids. You basically did everything together in your entire life and have always remained close to each other despite the huge contrast of personality between you two. Ranpo is an optimistic extroverted person who tends to be very excited about stuff and overdramatic while you are calm like a soft breeze and an extrovert person.

But you have always been able to handle his overdramatic and optimistic quirks in such an amazing way that many people in his life haven't been able to do that. This trait of yours have gained you a soft spot in Ranpo's heart despite his superiority complex.

Though it's not just a soft spot, he's basically in love with you, actually has been in love with you since you were little. It was just a crush but eventually it grew out to be love as he ended up developing romantic feelings for you after spending more time with you. Though you are very blissfully unaware of his feelings towards you because of his teasing demeanour as you take his flirting as simple light hearted teasing but it's always more to it.

You both became detectives and have been working together as well. And nothing has changed in the time period. It was lunch break and you had eaten your lunch and was now enjoying your candy when suddenly Ranpo asked for lollipop and you told him that it was the last one and told him to buy himself a lollipop but instead of going out to buy it, he simply leaned forward and took the lollipop out of your mouth gently and put the lollipop inside his mouth, making it indirect kiss which caught you off guard and had you blushing. He noticed you were blushing and snickered softly.

"Thanks for giving me your lollipop, sunshine!" He smirked, his chestnut brown eyes glinted with mischief.
