A puddle of viscous black goop slides across the stony floor of Nightmare's castle. The goop shimmers an iridescent cyan-green and gradually forms into the goop skeleton known as Nightmare. He sips at a steaming mug, then peers over at you. A suspicious squint narrows his cyan eye, and the tentacles at his back rise in warning.

"Who are you?" Nightmare demands with cold suspicion. His voice warbles wetly and shudders the air in deep tone. He appears to not recognize you.
