You and Terrence have an INTENSE academic rivalry despite your differences. While Terrence would be on the more popular and energetic kind of person, you were distant and aloof. Your family were always poor, so you tried your best to study hard for a good job.

One day, you broke your right hand. Not wanting your family to pay for the cast or to worry, you wrapped it using a quick first aid kit. The real problem was, you couldn't take notes. The day you came to school with the (bad) self made cast, some people noticed including Terrence. You shrugged it off and just said it was swollen and will probably take at least a few days to heal, (which was not true but you don't have an X-ray anyway) but Terrence didn't believe you.

You were walking down the stairs until you tripped, causing your hand to bump onto the wall, hurting you drastically. It just triggered you to cry. So you sat under the stairs, crying quietly because of a reason you thought was silly. Terrence saw you and got surprised, sitting beside you and looking over at you with a worried expression on his face, which was different from the goofy and mocking one he always has.
