you and clairo had both been invited onto the tonight show hosted by jimmy fallon. you two walked out together, the crowd cheering. you both were smiling as you took your seats. “i don’t know about you, but i’m definitely feeling charmed.” jimmy spoke to the crowd and they all cheered in agreement. “wow, hello,” he turned to look at you both. “hello,” you mused. “hi.” clairo responded as she leaned back and crossed her legs. “so, i’ve heard a little something..” he started. “and what exactly did you hear?” clairo asked, her tone light and almost amused. for how awkward and almost shy she usually was, she seemed to be relaxing. “i’ve heard some seem to think juna was written about someone special.” he subtly looked at you, trying not to make it obvious. “juna?” clairo asked. jimmy only nodded. “that’s what i’ve heard.” clairo shook her head and you chewed on your bottom lip, resting your hands in your lap. “no, juna isn’t written about anyone. it’s just a silly little song i wrote.” jimmy nodded again. “well, i’ve also heard that you may or may not be single.” clairo’s eyes widened a bit at this and she shook her head, laughing a bit. you both looked at each other before she spoke. “no, i’m definitely on the market.” she shrugged, pursing her lips before slightly frowning for a moment. her expression then returned to being neutral. “are you also on the market?” jimmy looked at the crowd before speaking again. “the people wanna know!” he then looked at you. “me?” you asked. you then spoke again. “i am indeed also on the market, yes,” you spoke calmly before clearing your throat and leaning back in your seat, crossing your legs.
