The sound of paper crumpling together whispered underneath the books messily piled onto one another, Fell grumbling under his breath. He was pushing half of everything in his backpack into the locker as he paid no mind to the disfigured heap of school materials. You were gazing around his scatter of a storage, suddenly landing your eyes onto a strapped dark red book in the corner that stood out from the others. It was the only one that didn’t look like it was stomped on by a horde, set nicely amongst the supplies.

You recall spotting it once when you had to borrow Fell’s notes because you missed a lesson. Ever since, you were always adamant of what this oddly organized book contained to be kept in such a condition compared to the rest of his locker. As a result you decided to jump at the opportunity, abruptly snatching the notebook from its spot to inquire inside.

The skeleton jumped from the unanticipated movement before recognizing what you had grabbed, widening his eye sockets in realizing shock. He tried to steal it back from you with a scowl curling onto his expression, desperate to keep the contents of the book hidden.

“HEY-“

Fell protested with his face darkening from surprised annoyance, still trying yet failing to retrieve the book from you. While he was continuing his agitated banter, you opened the mysterious book to discover his name signed on the front page with “DIARY” scribbled underneath. Your curiosity got the better of you as you flipped through the pages, skimming through the written ink before landing on one specific piece.

There were just pages all about you, adoration you never know Fell could even confess spewing through words like a cheesy romance novel. Every word talked about you, anything to what the two of you would do together or thoughts he had for you. As you turned your head towards Fell, he was staring back with a quizzical yet bewildered expression on his skull. He didn’t know what to say, just glancing between the book and you with the silence echoing in the supposed noisy hallway.
