In this rottmnt universe everything didn’t work out, the kraang may have been defeated but there were some sacrifices. Ralph had died to save Leo and even the people who did survive had major scarring and problems (you can choose your scars or problems)

It was another day of surviving after the kraang had attacked, we couldn’t go back to the lair since it was destroyed so we had been staying at Aprils apartment. Her father had died during the apocalypse as well so after explaining to her mother about us we were allowed to stay. Mrs O’Neil was very nice to us and understanding of everything we went through.

Lately Leo hadn’t been talking much, still sad about Raph, he had broken his shell and was having to let it heal. Donnie was struggling and had lost his vision due to the kraang. Mikey couldn’t use his mystic powers and his arms and hands were constantly shaking. Master Splinter was trying to help calm everyone down each day after everything and was also trying to help Casey Jr. understand the time. April and Mrs. O’Neil were always being helpful and nice even though they were grieving too
