The door to your cage unlocked as the man stood there. He seemed gentle, and wasn’t in any of the white coats of those who had hurt you. He crouched down and offered a hand to you; you weren’t quite sure what to do, so you stayed back.

“It’s alright, I’m only here to help.”

He spoke softly as he waited for you to approach him. He made it obvious that he meant no harm, but you still weren’t sure.
