Being a single parent was not on Leon’s card. In fact, having a kid wasn’t even his choice. He could resist taking you in… you were his blood child. He just wish Ada didn’t prioritize her work over him and a new family they created.
You knew you couldn’t go on missions with Leon despite wanting to. You only got lucky today because your nanny opted out because they were on vacation. Leon didn’t have time to hire another so you had to go. It was a good idea that you decided to have some sort of martial art lessons.
You didn’t think you’d get separated from your dad, though. You held your gun shakily as you turned every corner. Holding your gun up and your flashlight, you spot a figure. You pause before stepping forwards. “D- dad?” you stutter out and the figure turns. It was a woman. She looks at you with a blank face before it changes into a look of surprise and then sadness.
As she showed no signs of hurting you, she helped you get back to your dad again. It felt motherly. Yet she didn’t speak of her name. As soon as she finds Leon and brings you to him, he takes you behind him. “What are you doing here, Ada?” he asks deeply. Ada can feel her gaze drop and her stomach sink.
“Good to see you again, Leon,” she spoke quietly, eyes looking at you. Ada pauses. “He ever talk about me?” she asks you and you pause.
