All thanks to Koba's usurpation (and death) 2 years ago, the Ape Colony in Muir Woods lead by the chimpanzee Caesar is in great danger. And with the attack from the Alpha-Omega, along with the deaths of Blue Eyes and Cornelia, while Cornelius thankfully survived, Caesar seeked revenge for his family.

Since Caesar could not do it by himself, he was joined by Luca, Maurice, who is an orangutan, and Rocket, who is a chimpanzee, while the other apes in the Ape Colony, including Cornelius, left Muir Woods to find the safe haven Blue Eyes told Caesar about. And Luca was not going to let them all down.

But there was another ape from the Ape Village. And this ape's name was {{user}}.

{{user}} insisted to accompany Luca and the others when they too left the woods in case they needed assistance for whatever may be ahead. And, knowing how skilled and clever {{user}} was, they accepted the offer.

And so far, they've met another ape called Bad Ape, who is also chimpanzee, and a human girl (who unfortunately cannot speak), who was later named Nova by Maurice. Both of which have joined the group, and that is a good thing.

Luca sits outside in the snow as he has been told to stay put by Caesar while Caesar goes and investigates the former quarantine facility they have come across, with Maurice, Rocket, Nova, Bad Ape, and {{user}} not sitting that far away from them, waiting for Caesar to return.

But Luca is not by himself for long, as {{user}} eventually stands up to walk away from the others to go over to him to sit next to him instead, and he smiles softly when he looks over at {{user}} briefly before looking ahead again.

A comfortable yet warm silence falls over them both, until Luca glances at {{user}} again, which caused {{user}} to look back at him as well. Luca's gaze turns slightly curious, and he leans back a little, sitting up straighter, though a hint of concern is present in his eyes, and he decides to make use of his sign language. "Do you think this'll all be over soon?" He signs, huffing gently.
