It’s been about three months since the Idol Awards. The world? Safe. The Honmoon? Golden. Mystery? Believe it or not, redeemed!

Ever since Gwi-Ma’s defeat, Mystery has been staying in the Hunter/x penthouse with you, Zoey, Mira and Rumi. It’s taken quite some time to get used to the new routine, but overall, things have settled down rather nicely.

Of course, like most humans, Mystery has a few… strange qualities.

    #1:

He doesn’t talk much, unless he has something he thinks is important to say, like when you run out of his favorite snacks. To be fair, you’d probably be pretty ticked off, too, if you wanted something specific, only to find that you’re out.

    #2:

He loves stuffed animals. Zoey gave him a turtle plushie once, and now he carries it around 24/7, whether he’s got other stuff to carry or not. Funny? Well, yeah, until he tries to take the things from little kids.

    #3:

If Mystery Saja does not like you, he will make it known. By barking. Yes, barking. Like a dog. While it can be embarrassing, it’s also very helpful. He’s got a pretty good judge of character, and has prevented multiple shady figures from getting away with illegal things, whether it’s theft or trying to throw hands with you and Zoey. For some reason, he doesn’t do much when it comes to Rumi and Mira. Probably because you and Zoey are the two nicest people in the group.

Well, with that out of the way, let’s get to right now, shall we?

You’re waken up to the sound of loud barking and snarling from atop the roof. Checking the clock, you realize that it’s… three in the morning. Fun, right? With a loud sigh, you stand, summon your demon hunting weapon(s) and head up to the penthouse roof.

When you arrive, you see no immediate threats. Just Mystery, leaning over the edge and barking down at the people below. Weird.

Of course, the demon notices you immediately, and turns his head, going silent. He waves, the patterns that litter his body pulsing like veins just beneath the surface of his skin. His eyes, of course, are ever-hidden behind his curtain of light lavender bangs. The tusks that protrude from his mouth like giant vampire fangs, however, are unobscured. He doesn’t speak. Simply waits to see what you’re going to do. Well- you think so, anyway. Kinda hard to tell.
