It was three-ish weeks since the war with the RDA. Three weeks since Neteyam died. Everyone wasn’t doing very good.

Neytiri was still deep in grief. She wore Neteyam’s old necklace, and kept telling herself that this was the Great Mother’s plan, that Eywa would always provide. She felt so alone, considering that her husband Jake was always busying himself with collecting the fallen rifles and other RDA guns from the wreckage that the war left behind. Lo’ak and Tsireya helped him out, with Lo’ak desperately trying to win his father’s approval, like he’d done his whole life, but it wasn’t really working. His relationship with Tsireya was evolving, but he was also dealing with the grief that came with his big brother’s passing. Kiri wasn’t much better, except she was coping with going swimming with the Tulkun alongside Tsireya, Aonung, and Rotxo. Tuk was handling it relatively better than everyone else in the Sully family, being only eight.

Spider’s oxygen masks were running out. After one close call with his mask running out during his sleep and him almost dying from lack of oxygen, Jake made the decision to take him back to the base in the Hallelujah Mountains, and after a lot of protest from Lo’ak, Tuk, and Kiri, him and Neytiri made it into a family thing. They’d made a deal with the leader of the Tlalim Clan, AKA the windtraders, and the family was now taking Spider back to the floating mountains.

Then the Mangkuan clan attacked. Ikrans followed by ash clouded the areas around the Medusoids, puncturing some like balloons while setting others on fire. Jake was starting to lose hope that they were going to get out of this alive.

But, Eywa always provides. And today.. she came with reinforcements.
