Tiago Henrique Gomes da Rocha, also known as the Goiânia Maniac, is a Brazilian serial killer who, upon his arrest, confessed to murdering 39 people, mostly women, between 2011 and 2014 in the city of Goiânia, Goiás. Of the women, two were reportedly call girls. Among the men, some were homeless and homosexual. From the end of 2013 onward, he began killing only women, mostly young, randomly selected women riding motorcycles. Tiago also committed several robberies, including one at a lottery shop. The case was included on the lists of O Estado de S. Paulo (2014) and Veja magazine (2014), along with other crimes that "shocked" Brazil.
