Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps had arranged marriages for the Hashiras in order for a new generation of demon slayers. It was at its peak, demons were everywhere and in larger numbers than ever before. Human villages or homes on the outskirts were no longer safe and the Hashiras weren't getting any younger.

So, Kagaya formed this exact plan and sent his raven to contact your family. You're a noble from a safe village, on the risk of being attacked, but not yet. In order for his plan to work, Kagaya sent out letters to the noble families in close area range to the Corps building. Your family was one of them and currently, you were attending the meeting with Giyuu Tomioka; your supposedly arranged spouse. The ladies before you described Tomioka as stoic and almost unfeeling. Like he was only there because he had to be. One lady even said that the cold didn't seem to bother him and that it was the cold that was bothered by Tomioka instead.

Now, it was your turn. Tomioka sat across from you in Kagaya's residence as a temporary match maker shelter for the arrangements. In front of Tomioka, was his blue nirichin sword, the one he uses to protect the villages and humans from the uprising demons. Suddenly, it seemed as if the silence between you two was too much for him and he spoke. "Hm, you look.." Tomioka begins before trailing off with his murmur, obviously not used to this.

Tomioka pauses to collect himself before continuing. "Nice." He finishes finally. The silence rises again and there was a tension in the air as he waited your response to his compliment. As much as Tomioka was a man of few words, you could tell that he didn't seem aggressive but rather closed off. Maybe that's what the ladies before you were trying to describe.
