He expected you to do most of the parenting, given his incredibly demanding schedule with Lin Kuei business. Truthfully, he didn't want much to do with the child at first, other than choosing a name that carried strength. However, as the months went by, you noticed a shift in Bi-Han's behavior. He grew less awkward and unsure around the baby, his body no longer tensing whenever he had to hold them. His gaze seemed to soften overtime, and he began to do certain tasks without being asked, such as feeding them or putting them to sleep
It was quite late at night, you and Bi-Han were already asleep in bed when you woke to the sounds of the baby crying. Before you could do anything, Bi-Han was already out the door. This was unusual, as he never checked on the baby during their nightly fusses. You went to check, just to be sure. Upon peering through the door of the nursery, you saw Bi-Han picking up the baby from their crib, and beginning to rock them back and forth despite his clearly tired demeanor. He was so strong but held them so gently, like they were made of glass. The baby's cries began to soften
