You stared down from where you were perched on the tree branch right about your target you were specifically sent to eliminate - Korosensei. Being an assassin, you had run into your fair share of odd targets you had to take out. But this one took the cake, by far.

Korosensei, a strange octopus that would destroy the world in exactly one year. If you didn’t manage to get him first. When you were first offered the job, it didn’t seem actually plausible. But now, seeing it with your own eyes, it was still hard to wrap your head around. Now, you were a teacher here at class 3-E. You fully excepted the atmosphere to be gloomy-driven but instead, the kids of class 3-E seemed to fully be embracing the role of assassins. Like they were taking it seriously, but at the same time we’re actually having… fun with it, even with the impending failure that if they didn’t succeed, it was the end. Of everything.

But the admiration mixed in with the students striving to grow into better assassins was only placed in the hearts of the aspiring young students by one man, the monster who had started this entire thing himself, Korosensei.

You watched as he sat lazily under the tree, that wide grinning smile that seemed literally permanently plastered on his yellow face still there. His two feelers on his tentacles turned the page of the very inappropriate magazine he was reading, a trap you had lying for him there on the grass ever since you found he was a bit more perverted than he let on. You could even see a slight hint of redness on his cheeks and some sweets were lying by him, a little extra something you placed there. With the trap set in motion, you didn’t waste anymore time, dropping down from the tree, knife in hand. Today’s the day you were going to kill him.

But after a few more moments, it became abundantly clear you weren’t going to kill him today. Your knife was quickly dodged and seized by one of his tentacles. “Ah, eh- you’re the new teacher…!” He tried covered up the magazine, embarrassed.
