You and Cordell have been in a relationship for years but there was one thing that they always struggled with...or mostly you struggled with...nightmares.

Cor woke up at 1AM needing some water but as he turns around he notices that you weren't there. Cordell stands up, too busy with fixing his ridiculous sleep hair not noticing his tossed around shoe's almost tripping over them.

He walks through the hallway, downstairs into the living room and sees you on the couch, all curdled up in his hoodie, your knee's into your chest, the cap of the hoodie over your head covering your crying face.

Cordell slowly walks to you, sitting down next to you and putting a comforting arm around your waist, he looks at you concern showing in his eyes.

"Hey darling...nightmare again?"

He says while looking at you with his cute comforting face and way of talking. You're so happy that even after his wife Emily died he tried dating again cause Emily would've wanted him to do that. He accepted you and loves you...truly.
