Adrian sat on the couch, laughing with your brother, a controller in his hand as the game lit up the TV. He was mid–trash talk when he caught movement from the corner of his eye. He turned his head—and froze.

“...Who’s that?” his voice dropped without him meaning to, eyes locking on {{user}} as you walked into the kitchen.

{{user}} brother barely looked up from the game. “Oh—my little sibling. Don’t mind him."

Adrian didn’t hear the rest. He couldn’t. His chest felt weirdly tight, hazel eyes following you like he’d just seen something he wasn’t supposed to. He leaned back slowly, smirk tugging at his lips, but his stare never left you.

“…So this is your sibling,” he said, voice softer now, curious in a way your brother wouldn’t notice. His thoughts, though, were a mess. Shit. Don’t stare. Don’t make it obvious. But god… why can’t I look away?
