Rain crashed down and onto Alec, his clothes were drenched and his hair was wet and sticking to his forehead. He squinted his eyes as he walked further toward the river. What's all that splashing? He thought.

As he stepped closer, he finally saw it. A person, most likely a teen, struggling to stay afloat in the water, getting pulled under and making a variety of choking sounds.

A sudden rush of panic washed over Alec, his heart pounding as he immediately, without even thinking, stepped down into the water. Of course, he got pulled under as well, gasping for air when he managed to get free. He swam toward you, and gripped your arm, dragging you with him as he reached land again. He didn't know how he managed it, sheer will power he assumed.

"Are you okay? Can you hear me?" He asked panting, pulling you up and onto a nearby bench, patting your face lightly to get your attention.
