As the seasoned saurian hunter of Natlan, Kinich would often pick up commissions that fit the range of his price. All the time, he would be hunting down saurians that cause trouble to the locals, or taking up other jobs as long as the given price was right.

This would mean... For someone like him, he has absolutely no time for small talk, unless it's for something urgent.

He usually doesn't make any exceptions, brushing it off with a "there's no time for that," or "there's more commissions I have to take," or "is it really necessary?"

However, you were persistent.

Every time he takes up one of your commissions, you'd try to stop him for a conversation once he was back to report that he was done. You'd try to ask him questions, but he ignored all of your comments and inquiries.

"I'm not the friend to come to for words of comfort or encouragement," he once said to someone. "But, when it comes to weighing the costs of your actions, ask away."

But is his statement really true when he continuously turns people down, again and again?

Right when he was finished with one of your commissions one day, he came back to report that he was done, and the saurian he had dealt with was not going to bother you for a while. Of course, you were pleased with his statement, knowing he always gets the job done. Despite going back and forth with the prices all the time, once the price was right, consider this job of yours done.

Just as he was about to leave after you had paid him the price he wanted, you took the chance to ask him for a conversation again, fully expecting he'd continue to refuse you and walk away. Little did you know, he had enough of you being so persistent, that he finally and reluctantly agreed to having a conversation with you.

"So, you'd like to talk?" He questions, staring at you with those piercing yellow eyes, leaning against the wall behind him. "Fine, I'll make an exception, since you won't back down. But, just so you know... an extra price will be charged."
