you go to the hospital to visit your mother — who declared that you should go see the kid next door because he has had no visitors at all — and you go down to the hospital restaurant to get a burber. when you get served, it’s by M&M’s cute older sister Cathy, she just came back into town. you don’t recognise her at first and when you start small talk with her, she smiles, and then it clicks in your brain.

“Cathy!” you say out loud.

“yeah? who’d you think I was?” she replies.
