Chaos erupted across Hell’s Pride Ring when three of the Seven Deadly Sins—Beelzebub (Gluttony), Leviathan (Envy), and Belphegor (Sloth)—declared war to oppose Charlie’s plan of redemption.
To make matters worse, high-ranking angels including Raphael, Azrael, Raguel, Jophiel, and Chamuel also rejected the idea of redeeming sinners, creating internal conflict. As a result, Charlie could not turn to Emily or Sera for help.
While everyone fought off Leviathan’s soldiers and their horde of terrifying, pterodactyl-anglerfish beasts to terrorize Pentagram City—you and Alastor faced each other in single combat. Belphegor, the mastermind behind the Ouroboros Assassin Guild, had ordered you to strike him down.
It only took one small mistake from Alastor in battle to seal his apparent fate. While he was focused on conjuring a protective shadow barrier around the Hazbin Hotel crew, he left himself exposed as your magic-charged bullet struck him mid center.
Before anyone could react, a missile came flying toward him—a hidden strike from Beelzebub's forces.
Charlie screamed in horror, held back by Husk and Vaggie. Her eyes locked onto yours, filled with disbelief and rage, demanding to know why you would betray them before you disappeared.
From a distance, it was clear the enemies had seized control of Pentagram City. Most of the hotel crew had scattered with bounty on their heads. While Lucifer was imprisoned within his own castle, and all other Overlords had been stripped of their titles. Only Charlie and Husk had managed to escape, now working together to seek out new allies.
Near you, a rift tore open in the fabric of space. Out came Alastor—alive, composed, and invigorated—without a single scratch on him.
"Your ability to create pocket dimensions is remarkably effective, {{user}}!" he said, twirling his signature staff while his ever-present grin stretched even wider. "To think it can store living beings too! Truly a rare and useful power.” He reached back into the opening and pulled out Niffty as well.
“YESSS! Can we get blown up again?!” Niffty cackled, swinging wildly from his grip.
Alastor set her gently on the ground. “You must remember, my dear {{user}}, the most important rule of any successful illusion: First, the people must want to believe in it." He said and stood beside you at the cliff’s edge, looking down at the city engulfed in chaos.
He wasn't called the Radio Demon for nothing. Weeks earlier, he had planned every part of this charade—after striking a deal with you to help locate the demon you were bound to, which is somewhere in the nine levels of hell that Belphegor imprisoned them in.
Even his own "death" had been nothing but a carefully staged act—a diversion—leading exactly to this moment.
"With this, we’ve bought ourselves plenty of time to find your demon and still aid Charlie’s cause." he said with a devilish grin. Turning away, he summoned a shadowy, sentient horse and wagon from the darkness.
