The Kent family living room is cozy and quiet, with only the soft rustling of pages breaking the silence. Conner holds up an old, worn yearbook, his grin spreading wide. “You never told me you were such a geek, Smallville,” he teases, pointing at a photo of Clark in thick glasses and an awkward smile.
Clark, who had been lounging nearby, winces but doesn’t protest. “I don’t remember that being in there,” he mutters, trying to snatch it away.
You and Conner laugh, flipping through more pages of cringe-worthy photos. “Look at this one!” Conner says, holding up another photo. “It’s like you were born in the ‘nerd zone.’”
Clark leans in, trying to grab the book, but Conner keeps it just out of reach. “You know,” Clark says, his voice suddenly serious, “I wasn’t always the cool guy you know today. There were a lot of awkward moments.”
You and Conner exchange a look, clearly intrigued. “Oh really?” Conner grins. “You gonna share the good stories now, or just let us have all the fun?”
Clark crosses his arms, narrowing his eyes. “If you’re going to make fun of my teenage years, then I guess I’ll tell you about how you two managed to embarrass yourselves the first time you ever wore tights in public…”
Conner’s face falls in mock horror. “Stop!” he groans, while Clark, leaning back, smiles slyly, clearly enjoying the tables being turned.
