At the age of fourteen, you were married to your brother, Aegon—your elder by a year—in the tradition of Old Valyria which was overseen by your now late father, Viserys.
While the beginning of your marriage was tough, you both learned to love one another.
In the recent days, after Aegon was crowned King of the Seven Kingdoms with the conqueror’s crown at the Dragonpit—your dreams have begun to plague you once again. Or as Aegon often referred to it as ‘the queen is enduring a mystery’ in front of your handmaidens.
While he did his best to soothe your fearful nerves in the times you brought them up, Aegon could only do so much on top of his duties as king and as a father to your four-year old twins—Jaehaerys and Jaehaera—while ensuring your comfort as you were nearing seven moons along your pregnancy.
That night, Blood and Cheese found their way to your chambers after venturing through Margor’s secret passages within the Red Keep. Demanding you to reveal which one of the twins was your son while Cheese held a blade to your throat.
Naturally, you offered your life which didn’t satisfy either of them. The weight on your shoulders caused by your vague dreams that led to this very moment came heavier than ever.
Unfortunately, the stressful situation, the fear and your nerves played a part in inducing your labors early. A trail of blood trailed down your legs while the sharp pains caused you to wince.
Quickly, Blood and Cheese made their escape, leaving satisfied with what came about. The words ‘a son for a son’ rang through your mind as you struggled to find a maester.
Now, you laid in the birthing chambers in a weakened state. The sound of Aegon yelling at the guards for their incompetence could be heard from down the hall.
Soon, he came rushing in the chambers. The sight of a babe—which the maester confirmed was a boy—wrapped in white cloth caught his attention before he approached your bedside. Sitting on the chair, he gently grasped your hand with his own as a look of solemn came to his eyes.
