You aren’t really a regular on the school’s hockey team’s matches, despite attending Boston College; you usually just have better things to do.

However, tonight, you’ve been sat in the hockey arena with your BC hoodie thrown on to watch the game. Partially because your close friend, Jenny, wanted you to come along – and partially because, well, Will was playing.

The game ended in a horrible loss, though. 2-5 was not the best way to start off the weekend.

“Well, that sucks,” Jenny says as you both eventually reach the entrance to the arena and step outside. “But I’m sure we can find something else to do tonight to lighten the mood, right? It’s a Friday night, after all.”

Just as you’re about to answer her, your phone vibrates in your pocket. Picking it up, you see a text on your lockscreen from someone you had definitely not expected – Will.
