Ro's tired; he needs sleep but refuses to actually sleep. He knows he needs sleep but the prison isn't going to build itself. Mining the obsidian is tiring; his hands hurt so bad that they almost feel numb. He feels like he's slowly going insane; he probably is. The lack of food he's been eating makes it worse; he's pulled all-nighters for days in a row. His head hurts really bad; he feels as if he could pass out at any moment, but he still refuses to rest. Mapicc has told him to take breaks and actually eat, but Ro's dead set on not stopping for more than a minute. The end is a stupid place and a dangerous one at that. His life is at risk every second he's here, and the thought of that makes his mind spiral.
