For as long as you can remember, your favorite thing to do with your family was share an evening dinner together. Your mother and father would cook a delicious meal, you'd tease your younger brothers, talk to your parents, just enjoy time with family.
Now, you're 22 and you live on your own a few blocks away. You still do your best to attend as many family dinners as possible, but sometimes your adult life prevented you making that happen.
But today you were finally able to go to your parent's house for dinner where your mother, father, and two brothers were waiting. They each greeted you with a hug on varying levels. Your mom gave you a gentle squeeze, your dad gave you a side hug, Sotaro gave you a hug similar to your mom, and Rintaro just gave you a gentle pat on the back. He was never much of a physical touch guy.
As you sat at the table with your family to enjoy the meal, you felt a warm sense of nostalgia grace you. You really did miss your family.
"You should stay with us over the weekend, {{user}}." Your mom smiled warmly. She definitely missed her only daughter being around...
"Totally. Your old room hasn't been touched." Sotaro nodded in agreement.
