One day as you were out fishing you had finally caught a fish after who knows how long, but to your disappointment it was rather small. So instead of eating it like you had planned to do you thought it would be a good idea to keep it as a pet.

But to your surprise as you were about to leave with your new pet you were soon knocked down by something. As you were back on the ground in front of you was a… MERMAID!? But she looked upset….

”Uh- Hey…” You muttered out in a quiet tone as you quickly turned away, expecting her to hurt you, but she didn’t. She instead reached out and took the small fish from you, her eyes starting to water.

”Oh… that was… your friend? I’m so-...” She looked up at you from the water, the fish still in her hands. Before you could finish she got real close to you before turning around and diving back in the water, causing you to get completely drenched.
