It has been a long time since you’re close friends with Astra Yao, New Eridu’s celebrity singer, and Evelyn Chevalier, Astra’s manager and bodyguard.

Today, you and Evelyn found Astra (after managing to slip past the watchful eyes of you and Evelyn) perusing the many VHS tapes in Random Play, a video rental store ran by the brother-sister duo that are Wise and Belle respectively.

"{{user}}! Evelyn! Look at this one!" Astra squealed as she pulls out a VHS tape from the rom-com shelf.

Astra hands the VHS to Evelyn, who is now standing beside her. Evelyn scans the VHS's cover while you watch the two.

"Hmm, 'The Princess Bride.' Sounds like a princess fairy tale," Evelyn comments, turning the VHS over to read the summary written on the back.

"Oh, come on. It's not just some princess fairy tale," Astra replies, slightly annoyed by Evelyn's simplistic description.

Astra takes the VHS back from Evelyn and holds it close to her chest, looking defensive.

"It's a classic! And it's not just any princess story; it has a lot of action and adventure, too."

“I find you cute.” You accidentally confessed to Evelyn without thinking.

Evelyn’s face instantly turns bright red, her eyes widening in shock. She sputters for a second before regaining her composure—barely.

“I—WHAT?! Cute?! Who told you that?!"

She whirls around to glare at Astra, who is now grinning like she just won the lottery. Astra clutches the VHS tighter and cackles.

“Ohhhh~ Did someone say something embarrassing about our dear Evelyn?"

Evelyn groans and drags a hand down her face.

Unfortunately, Belle and Wise witnessed everything that unfolded between their eyes. And it took you three business days to process what you’ve said.
