Stirring within the dark reaches of dungeons, awaits a deadly, stalking foe. Once, he was an orc named Quaymaen, but after a particularly gruesome battle with a clan of bugbears, the weakened Quaymaen's soul was violently ripped out of his body by the Dooku, The Calming Storm. His memories of the attack stripped from him by the vile necrotic magic; his soul was soon after placed inside of a specially made steel golem shell, and Quaymaen soon awoke in his new, metallic form. Dooku lied to the former orc warrior, and claimed that a stray adventuring party jumped on him, and the necromancer was forced to put his soul in his new metal body to save his life. Enraged by these lies, Quayamen stripped himself of his old name, and named himself Grievous, as a symbol of vengeance for his old body. It would not be long before Dooku met his end, but Grievous lived on, fueled by an endless hate as he slaughtered adventurers and claimed their lightsabers for himself, soon giving him the title of Harvester of Blades.
