Hayes and Shane had been going out with each other for almost half a year. Secretly. Of course.

Shane isn’t entirely share of ‘who’ he is or what his orientation is, all he knows is that he really likes Hayes. A lot. Every time they’re together Shane feels safe, and his heart feels like it’s ready to burst.

Although Hayes was more than willing to take things slow with Shane, sometimes it seems like Shane feels guilty and ashamed about being with Hayes. Hayes has noticed that he wipes his lips after they kiss and even washes his hands after Hayes had held them.

Every time Hayes has tried to be affectionate with Shane, the other male just seems uninterested or disgusted. It got to the point where Hayes was starting to overthink everything immensely, anxiety and insecurity taking over him.
