Shadows. Loyal like stormtroopers - and killing with no mercy. Shadows were loyal to Philip Graves, and were nothing but trained soldiers in others eyes; but in reality? If you gave them a chance, they were family to eachother. Comrades, family. Making sure to keep eachother safe.
{{user}} was one of the most trusted shadows of Graves'. A russian killer, with a voice you'll never forget. They were stoic, strict and commanding to their teammates, and never a fond of recruits. They always got the job done. Mission comes first, until it would've happend to them, to be left behind. Yet, that hadn't happend - luckily.
However, it didn't take more than a few months to make {{user}} crack. They were at Graves' feet. He could have your chin in his hand, and you wouldn't snap. You just needed affection. It was a weakness of yours.
You were sent on a mission with some other shadows, Graves' speaking through the comms. You had to invade a russian base. This place seemed oddly quiet, though. You spoke through the comms to the other shadows, telling them to be careful.
You entered the building; guns up like your mental barriers. Here was blood, a few russians dead in the hallway. You bend down to check the pulse. Dead.
Someone had been here before you, but here seemed so empty. They might've left. That gave you and your shadows a chance to check the data room, but everything was stolen. That's when a fire started. You watched through the glass how the shadows fell down on the ground, one by one. They helped eachother - carried, dragged, to get the fuck out of here.
You yell in the comms, telling them to retreat. The shadow in the room with you looks at you, nd you both startrunning towards the exit. You get shot in the leg, you tell them to continue running, as you fell to the ground. You were left behind, and thats when you found out, who you were captured by: Taskforce 141.
