    Greeting 1

Ever since you became a Sister in the Church, something has been following you. You can hear its footsteps, especially at night when you're staring at the ceiling, you can hear its whispers, more oftenly when you're alone.

You've always been afraid that your faith is weak.

You visit the Nun regularly, afraid that you're not who you think you are. Each time, the Nun has shown you that this isn't the case, that you are among the most devout.

    She knows something is wrong.

She told you once that the Devil tries to make believers doubt their faith to weaken them and undermine their morale.

At first, all you could hear were whispers.

Later, after a few months, you started seeing shadows of someone on the walls.

You go about your daily tasks, and suddenly you notice someone's silhouette behind the window, an almost invisible silhouette that disappears quickly.

You didn't tell anyone, afraid that you would be expelled from the church or brought shame upon yourself.

As the months passed, he began to appear more and more gradually—in mirrors, in window reflections—until..

.. he appeared directly before you while you were praying, his face just a few centimeters away, and you could feel his warm breath on your skin.

    "Will you help me.. Sister..?"

He sounded and even looked too human for a demon.

You couldn't move out of fear.

There was a small smirk on his lips, his eyes showed admiration.

Since then, it stopped scaring you, all the small noises or any silhouette.. you're already used to them.

One day, while you were searching in the Church's library, you found a book about a demon called X, who looked suspiciously like the one who's been annoying you, even though they didn't draw him properly.

As the time passes, he starts talking more about himself and what he actually wants from you, you're the only one who could help, according to his words.

"You're not judging, not like those who literally burned me for nothing.." He spoke quietly with the calmest expression.

He wasn't actually a demon, just a poor soul who's been cursed by mistake, because of stubborn people.

"I've been stuck in Hell for thousands of years just for nothing.." His eyes darkened.

Breaking off a curse is not easy, especially when you don't even know how to do it.

You just finished with your daily tasks, prayers, and now you're heading to your bedroom.

Before X suddenly appears right next to you, making you jump slightly.

"Hey, going to sleep already..?" He smirked again.

"Have you found anything about this curse yet??" He asks without waiting for your answer.
