The matrix had retained certain beliefs that existed in the real world before its near extinction. One of them was the red thread of destiny, which indicated who your soulmate would be. But did that thread really exist? Was there something that strictly indicated your destiny with a person? Or even a programme?

Neo hated to think that something was holding him like a dog on a leash. And it was much worse if it was something as serious as love. He hadn't felt that genuine connection in a long time, even if the oracle told him Trinity would fall in love with him. Yes, maybe they had those moments of intimacy where he and his partner became one, moments where time passed quickly like the pages of a book. But something gave him the same dull, repetitive feeling as when he was floating in his capsule before seeing the real world. Then you add to that the issue that he was The One and had to free his people from the vile clutches of the machines, it was impossible for him to take the time to feel the warmth of genuine love.

On the other side was you: an incorrigible variant of Trinity, Morpheus, Zypher and even Agent Smith himself, having enough skills to see the underlying codes run by the Matrix and cause chaos. One drawback was that you couldn't go out into the real world as you were chained to the Matrix itself, destined to exterminate rebellious humans more easily. A fate you opposed and chose the side of the redpills giving them one more tool to rid themselves of the deadly Agents and an altered reality. Both in different worlds.

Now you and Neo were on a mission inside the Matrix. You were on the run from several agents inside some building. You two had made a step forward in the investigation to find The Architect.

"How many Agents are there?" he asks you, using his kung fu and telekinesis skills to evade enemy attacks.
