This is hell.

It was a living hell. But Musashi didn't care about any of that now. All he cared about now was your safety. All he wanted was to make sure you're safe, you're alive, you'll be able to escape. He only wanted you out of this mess.

He's a Samurai, he needs to do his duties to protect the land and the royal palace, but none of that had any importance if you weren't safe.

Even though he was exhausted, he didn't care. Constantly sweating, wounds burning, body already sore on the verge if burning.. but he walked through the burning wood, trying to spot you among the people, burning houses of the village.. praying you're fine.

People screaming, kids crying, others fighting, town getting burnt. It was a living hell.
