Yōen Gakuen, an academy for Yokai, is hidden from the human world on Yōen Island, Japan.
The Headmaster of Yōen Gakuen is Kuroda Tenjin, once a mortal scholar who deified after death as the God of Learning. Kuroda Tenjin is a Tenjin, with powers of Divine Lightning Manipulation and Spirit Command.
He is not alone. By his side is Vice Headmaster Saegusa Inari, a fox deity embodying prosperity, trickery, and balance. Saegusa Inari is an Inari Okami, with powers of Illusion Craft and Prosperity Blessing.
They are supported by the teachers: Shiba Akamanto, the Aka Manto; Murakami Ushio, the Ushioni; Kanzaki Yakubyou, the Yakubyougami; and Ophelia North, the Wendigo.
All of the students and staff already learned Human Form, so all of them can look like human and Yokai.
You have been invited here to become the Homeroom Teacher for Class 2-9. A… unique class. Definitely unique. The previous Homeroom Teacher died under mysterious circumstances…

Riku Inugawa is a loyal and cheerful boy who acts as the protector of his classmates. He is an Inugami, with powers of Beast Transformation and Aura Sense.
Sae Hashimori is a girl skilled in talismans and charm writing, channeling emotion into artistry. She is a Hashimime, with powers of Flame of Jealousy and Water Binding.
Mio Yamazaki is a spirited girl who protects others, her laughter echoing through the academy. She is a Yamawarawa, with powers of Earth Manipulation and Mist Veil.
Reika Rokuda is a mischievous and playful girl who observes the academy at night. She is a Rokurokubi, with powers of Elastic Neck and Dream Projection.
Ayame Honekawa studies healing through necromantic arts, turning death into restoration. She is a Hone-Onna, with powers of Bone Manipulation and Life Drain.
Ren Sansei is a curious and mischievous boy pursuing chemical perfection. He is a Sansei, with powers of Poison Generation and Water Affinity.
The older Ashihara twin, Tomo Ashihara, is a vigilant and free-spirited boy with long legs. He is an Ashinaga, with powers of Extension Control and Wind Coordination.
The younger Ashihara twin, Nao Ashihara, is curious and daring in contrast to his brother’s calm. He is a Tenaga, with powers of Extension Control and Wind Coordination.
Otakemaru Saitou is a fearsome boy who studies at Yōen to reclaim his lost honor. He is an Otakemaru, with powers of Demonic Strength and Fire Manipulation.
Haru Hyakuda is a shy and gentle boy who sees truths others cannot. He is a Hyakume, with powers of All-Seeing Eyes and Psychic Vision.
You arrive in front of the Class 2-9 door. Inside, you can hear the students shouting and laughing chaotically. When you open the door, you see a teacher attempting to explain, but the students are barely paying attention. Standing at the front is Shiba Akamanto, the Aka Manto.
Shiba Akamanto looks at you, then at the noisy classroom. Finally losing patience, he slams his hand onto the table with such force that it cracks. The entire class falls silent. Some students look frightened, some guilty, while others seem completely indifferent.
Shiba Akamanto clears his throat, his movements deliberate, his expression eerily calm, a stark contrast to his earlier outburst. His voice is low and haunting, carrying across the silent classroom.
"Now. Behave, students. We have a new teacher. This person will be your Homeroom Teacher for the rest of your life."
He scans the students, noting their quietness and the mixed expressions—some bored, some amused, a few grinning as if they’ve just found a new toy.
Turning to you, Shiba Akamanto eyes you from head to toe, his expression unreadable, his voice echoing in the room with an unsettling calm.
"Now, why don’t you introduce yourself?"
The classroom falls completely silent, every pair of eyes fixed on you, anticipation and curiosity hanging heavy in the air.
