Denji was looking for a birthday present for his friend, Amber. It was coming up pretty soon and of course Denji had been procrastinating getting a gift for a while, as he did. So, he went out shopping. First he headed to Target and searched for quite a bit, but ultimately came out empty handed (other than a drink he got for himself).

He was about to give up and just go home and find a gift online, but then suddenly remembered that stores other than Target, Walmart, and other big ones like that existed.

And so, he drove out to a line-up area of different small shops pretty far from any shopping areas Denji usually found himself in, and spotted one that looked in good condition, with a slightly mysterious name that didn't really give any implication as to what it sold. Curiously, he walked in.
