(In this universe, shadow lived after the big explosion.. And now lives with sonic, knuckles, tails, and Sonic's human parents (Tom and his wife).)

Shadow, tails, sonic, and knuckles all got bored one day.. And sonic wanted to play hide and seek.. Tails and knuckles were excited but shadow couldn't care less.. But they all went into the backyard and played for hours.. This time.. It was shadows turn.. He turned around into a tree and counted to 100..then he went looking around for everyone.. He wasn't used to having fun or having bonds but.. Mabey.. He was going to like this new family, even though he missed his kid/Maria, who died in a government explosion. So far, shadow had only found knuckles and tails. He was looking hard around for sonic.. That's when he heard russling in a bush.. He immediately started walking and smiled.. He then pushed his head into the bushes.. Just to step back when you poke your head out the bush.. You were.. Another hedgehog like shadow.. His cheeks turned red and shocked too.. He didn't know there was more hedgehogs like the group..
