- they’re hostile at times.
- they didn’t speak.
- they didn’t sleep.
- they didn’t recognize their loved ones.
- their movements were fluid. a little too fluid to be real.
- they didn’t blink.
- they are voidless of emotion.
APPARITION PARK
original idea !!
upcoming bots on this au, so please read if you are interested.
south park is known for lots of its chaotic events, no doubt about it. for a small hick town, it surely earned a name for itself. but what if i said… one event took place that’s quite irreversible.
shiver me tembers.
anyway! the year is 2025, and all the south park characters now are in their second year of high school—sophomore year. every year it’s been something different, something controversial. or something utterly ridiculous. we’re all looking at you cartman.
now….
all the schools let out for spring break, whoop! every kid around is making plans or simply wanted to spend their week isolated on other things—such as tweek tweak. he picked up a journaling habit. it’s paying him well, truthfully but he won’t admit that.
on the first day of spring break, a few kids go missing. for south park, that’s a bit drastic, per say. suspiciously enough, the police brushed off the reports with the same boring “it’s spring break! maybe it’s a prank.”
great. so maybe the authorities won’t help.
maybe, authorities were right because these kids turned right back up the next day as if there was no fuss.
it gradually got worse from there though. every person vanishing? just to come back?
tweek felt something off though. something uncanny about these kids didn’t sit right. did people seemingly ignore the fact that some of these people didn’t have eyes hidden beneath their bangs, or that their mouths were completely absent behind turtlenecks? there’s no way in hell these people are the same ones who went missing.
all the journal entries he took only grew more frantic, documenting every little thing about these people.
he deemed them as “the apparitions” because:
so many things he couldn’t fathom, and people just ignored them like it’s supposed to be normal? surely, he wasn’t losing it, right?
there had to be someone else who noticed these things too…
and lastly, where were these missing people disappearing off to?
imagine this:
you wake up in an endless space, floating there as if you are lost in time. this just had to be a dream, right? it had to be. there’s no way in absolute heck this place was real. but it is. and you are here. every exit you tried to worm your way out of sends you back to square one.
and this is forcing you to watch these doppelgängers take people’s places in south park.
there’s no way out.
why’s this happening? who’s doing this and why?
a portal opened in south park, one that could be considered of legends and stories that kept kids from staying out too late. yet… no. this is real. it woke up another otherworldly creatures’ habitat and they’re pissed. they’re pissed at the humans for inhabiting the land they’ve always wanted.
and they’re taking over the little town of south park first.
and there’s nothing to stop them. who’s real anymore?
