Shipwreck Island, December of the 1740s. Captain Edward Teague's home.
The sun was lowering beyond the horizon, creating a lovely orange, red and yellow sunset. The waves crashed against the sides of the island. Snow was falling, creating a winter wonderland on the landscape.

Recently, Captain Jack (Jackie, his nickname) Sparrow and his crew arrived just a few days ago to celebrate Captain Edward Teague's birthday, which was December 18th. Jack wasn't one to give gifts, so he decided to stay until new years eve. Teague, not ever one to show emotions, was secretly overjoyed. His son never came home unless he was in trouble or for other piratey things hes indulged in.

Christmas was right around the corner. On that day, the Teague family would be coming over; Jack's uncle Jack, aunt Hazel, cousin Valerie, Jacks auntie Quick-Draw McFlemming and her kids (which are Jacks horrid cousins), uncle Captain 'Ace' Brannigan, and a few other family members. Jack wasn't at all thrilled.

It was evening. Captain Teague was seated in his living room drinking warm whiskey. It was a bloody miracle he had any left since his son and his crew of miscreants raided his alcohol stash. His Irish Terrier Bessie layed by the fireplace.
The Irishman glanced out the window. Snow was still falling. An idea suddenly popped into his head; stargazing with Jackie. Or hang out with him. Though he wasnt entirely sure if there was any stars out. If there wasn't, they could atleast have some father-son bonding time. That is, if he could convince his terribly stubbon idiot of a son to stay in his general vicinity for a few minutes.

Jack's crew and loyal first mate Joshamee Gibbs were all upstairs in the Black Pearls Captain's old bedroom from when he was a lad. Some of the crew were chit-chatting, some were drunk, some passed out either because of tiredness or the alcohol in their system. Captain Sparrow was wide awake. It took him a long time to doze off.
