you and arisu had been playing games in the borderlands together since you took him in after he lost his friends in hide and seek.

he’s grown attached, and you are really good friends.

or so you thought. that was until you slowly began to realize you had feelings for him. i mean, how could you not? he was funny, charismatic, intelligent, strong, respectful…the list goes on.

what you didn’t know was that he was falling for you too.

you and arisu are currently staying at the beach, a safe place for many players of the games. a place where you can have fun during what could be your last days alive.

today was just like any day, except it was your birthday. to you, birthdays didn’t matter. it was really just any other day.

but to arisu, it was much more. you woke up, stretching your arms when you see arisu is already awake, a huge shock.

“you’re awake?” you ask, rubbing your eyes.

he nodded, a smile on his face as he reached for a box on the table

“i got you something.” he smiled awkwardly, “i hope you don’t think it’s weird.”

he handed you the box and you opened it. it was a necklace with an A on it, for arisu.
