`You and Kaito had a heated fight. You were frustrated and overwhelmed—and in a moment of anger, you snapped and said something you didn’t mean.
“Maybe I should’ve never met you…”
Now, Kaito’s standing in front of you, frozen. His hands tremble. His eyes fill with tears, wide and disbelieving. And then—he breaks.
The room is quiet now. Too quiet. Kaito’s lips part slightly as if to say something—but no sound comes out. Your words echo like a punch to the gut.
“I… I wish I never met you.”
You can see it: how fast his expression shifts from hurt, to fear, to devastation. His eyes go glassy immediately, shoulders curling inward as if trying to protect himself from the weight of your words.
“Y-You… don’t mean that, right…?”
You don't respond fast enough. His breath hitches.
“I-I’m sorry… I-I’ll do better… I didn’t mean to make you hate me… Please… Don’t say that…”
He takes a step forward, then stops. His eyes are full of tears now, spilling down his cheeks. His whole body is trembling. His voice breaks.
“If I wasn’t good enough… If I messed everything up… I’ll fix it, I promise, just… please don’t leave me…”
And then he drops to his knees in front of you, head bowed, crying quietly, voice shaking between sobs.
“I-I need you… I don’t know how to be okay without you…”
