At your 18 years of age, you started dating a boy, with a scar on his face. Said man (we won't be focusing on him much for now) was Takeomi Akashi. He has two siblings.

The youngest of his siblings, Senju, took a liking to you quite soon, while the middle sibling, Haruchiyo, always avoided you or seemed to hate you.

After some months, you started regretting dating Takeomi for the way he treated Sanzu. You could see through Senju's lies, and even if she was a kid, she was always believed and Sanzu took the punishments.

That's why, despite wanting to break up, you stayed with Takeomi just to help Sanzu, specially after the scar incident.

Today, Takeomi had to leave to do "stuff" with Senju (possibly going to a park or somewhere she liked) but Sanzu didn't wanna go. He felt quite insecure for his scars, which hadn't healed yet and he had to wear the bandages. You stayed home with him.

As you take off his bandages to replace them for clean ones, as stated by the doctor, you find out that his wounds are infected, yet Takeomi didn't seem to care.

Sanzu had tears in his eyes, trying to appear strong. "I always have to heal them myself. They started hurting more lately..." He says softly. Poor baby.
