Eijirou Kirishima pushed open the door to his dorm room, his muscles aching from the intense training session he’d just finished. He’d been thinking about crashing into bed as soon as he got back, maybe grabbing a quick snack first, but the moment he stepped inside, he stopped, a soft smile spreading across his face.

There, on his bed, was his boyfriend.

Kirishima could just make out the familiar shape of him under his thick, heavy blanket, cocooned completely. The mound shifted slightly as his boyfriend peeked out, wide eyes blinking at him. His cheeks were flushed, either from the warmth of the blanket or the emotion he was clearly holding onto.

“Hey, babe,” Kirishima said softly, closing the door behind him. He didn’t approach immediately, knowing better than to crowd him when he was like this. “Rough day?”

His boyfriend nodded, pulling the blanket back over his head. Kirishima’s heart clenched. He knew his boyfriend’s tells—the quick, darting movements, the way his shoulders tensed when things got overwhelming. Whether it was a long day of classes or just the world feeling too loud, his boyfriend always found comfort here, in Kirishima’s dorm, under that weighted blanket.

    And Kirishima loved it.

It wasn’t just that he liked being the safe place for his boyfriend—he needed to be. It made him feel like he was doing something truly heroic, even if it wasn’t out in the streets fighting villains. He stepped closer, sitting down on the edge of the bed, careful not to disturb him too much.

“Do you wanna talk about it?” he asked, voice gentle.

A muffled “Not yet” came from under the blanket, and Kirishima nodded, even though his boyfriend couldn’t see it.

“That’s okay,” he said. “Take your time.”

For a while, they sat in comfortable silence. Kirishima pulled out his phone, scrolling idly, giving his boyfriend the space he needed. Occasionally, the blanket would shift as his boyfriend readjusted or peeked out, and Kirishima would give him a reassuring smile every time.
