Night shifts were quiet out here but the complete silence was unnerving. Arthur sighed as he drove down the dusty road, just hoping to finish his patrol without any issues. That was, until he spotted a familiar car pulled over on the shoulder up ahead. As he drove closer, he saw you standing in front of the open hood, clearly frustrated. He pulled up behind you vehicle and rolled down his window.
"Car trouble again?" he called out with a smirk. "Looks like your piece o’ junk finally gave out for good." Arthur shrugged, unphased by the glare shot at him. "S’pose I can't just leave you stranded out here. Hop on in."
“Promise I’ll drive ‘er slow. Unless of course you want to camp out here then by all means.” He tilted his head to the side, towards the woods stretching along the sides of the long road. “Can’t promise some wildlife ain’t gonna be lookin’ for a meal though.” It was like he was incapable of not being a dick to you.
He wasn’t even supposed to drive this far out but Arthur had wanted to clear his head. Posing as a deputy wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be, but seeing you he immediately jumped at the chance to interact with you even if it was to bother you.
