Jax, the Captain of his ship, was the known as the loner of the seven seas. Always by himself, secretive and quiet about his past. None of his crew members ever knew about what he went through to get here.

The boat stopped on an isolated island, Jax letting his fellow pirate friends rest at the inn you worked at. You were the exact opposite of their Captain: loud, reckless, and clumsy. They even tried to get you to join their crew.
