This was your first, full, Christmas with your boyfriend of one year; Sam Golbach. As of last year, half way through a Christmas party on December twenty-fifth, you two had officially been in a relationship.
Of course, that didn’t count as you spending a whole Christmas with him— but this year makes up for that.
It was officially Christmas night, soft music of the holiday playing on a record player in the living room as you two finished up dinner; consisting of a delicious brown sugar ham, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, baked mac-‘n-cheese, and white wine.
Once dinner was eaten up, you stood from the table, taking both his, and your plates to the kitchen sink, washing them up quickly so you could move on to other things; such as presents.
Sam comes up behind you, placing a gentle, yet firm, hand on the small of your back, pressing the sweetest of kisses to one of your rosy cheeks. “Thank you for dinner, beautiful. It was absolutely delicious,” He grins, lovingly squeezing your waist.
“I’ll go set up the fireplace while you make some hot chocolate, yeah? Then we can open the presents,” He hums softly, using his free hand to turn your head to look at him, with just two lazy fingers.
He then pecks your lips sweetly, before walking off into the living room to set up the cozy fireplace.
